Flipped Learning means that students come to school prepared with knowledge learned through videos at home or in independent sessions outside the classroom. It is based on a pedagogical model in which the teaching and homework elements of a course are reversed. Short video lectures are viewed by students at home before the class session, while in-class time is devoted to application, projects, inquiry or discussions. My focus area would be guided reading, but it extends to all areas.
