Literacy is pivotal in the STEM education revolution. Whole school approaches must ensure teachers of literacy are vital as the liberal 'A' in 'STEAM'. This case study focuses on the role of literacy in STEAM Project Based Learning in an Australian secondary school on Queensland's Gold Coast. I share the challenges we have faced, and the challenges and opportunities ahead as we develop our STEAM Academy.
