How can you use visual note-taking techniques to enhance the learning in your classroom?

Come prepared to trial the essentials of visual note-taking (aka sketchnotes), and to examine them in the context of a Middle/High School/Upper Elementary context.
How can we leverage collaborative thinkers to construct exam revision products which will engage your whole class?
Bring your favorite pen or pencil to find out more. This session will look at blending analog and digital skills and creating a shift in the way we think about 'notes.'

The session will prepare you to use visual notes as an application upon your return to your own classroom.  You will be equipped with the toolkit to use this approach in a variety of formats. You will also acquire follow up materials to use to further unpack visual notetaking back at your campus.

Please find our slides for the session here.

Follow-up resources are linked here.

Download your free copy of Sketchnotes for Teaching and Learning (featuring a great chapter with Nicki!) here.

Lastly, continue to connect with Tricia and Nicki on Twitter: they are happy to continue this conversation with you long after the session wraps.
